I am so grateful for mothers. I have an amazing mom who I can't imagine what my life would be like without. I feel so blessed to have been privileged to have her in my life. She has such a good sense of humor and is my best friend. She can do the impossible, which often includes making me laugh at myself. She has this incredible ability to attract all different types of people to her and inspire and uplift them all. She tells a great story and I would be lucky to be half the mom that she is. I owe a lot to this amazing woman, and I know she feels the same about her mother. I feel so blessed to have been given the chance to spend these last few months with my grandmother here and to thank her for my own mother.

Mesmerized
Mesmerized by dad's singing Jax trying a little song out himself
Mom interrupting singing time
Okay, so since this is my first kid I don't know what is normal and what isn't. But, for as long as I can remember Jax has been mesmerized by music. He absolutely loves to be sang to. He can be screaming at the top of his lungs and the minute you start singing he calms down and stares at you. He has just recently started to reach for your mouth (well he reaches for everything), like he is trying to capture the sound coming out. Who knows maybe he will be musical, and if he is he gets his talent from James because I am lacking in that department.

Hallelujah
Well, no pictures with this post kids but I had to share with everyone my excitement. Last night for the first time in what seems like eternity I was able to sleep for 8 hours straight. Thats right, no night light, no kid comforting, no listening for whimpers, no nothing. Just the soft pillow, warm blankets and darkness. Oh, and I can't forget the car chasing, bullet dodging dreams of course. Last night Jax slept in his own room (for the second time), and for the first time he slept through the night for a full 8 hours! I am so proud and excited, mainly for myself, but that still counts right?

New Friends
Jaxon with his cousins Page and Aubree Kelly and Hope holding Jaxon and Cash
Jaxon and Abby (Future prospect)
Abby, Jaxon and Lily (Jaxon and his women)
Jaxon and Brittany
Ashley with her triplets and toddler (J/K - whew right?)
Well Jaxon had an exciting weekend where he ventured to meet his own kind. Or should I say kids his own age. It was fun that he discovered future friends. It was so much fun to get together and talk baby talk.

So we went on a ski trip to pinetop. It was our first official vacation. It was so much fun to get out and enjoy my family. I spent most of my time with Hope since I was learning to ski for the first time and she was learning to snow board. James was the pro, even though he forgot what the sun does to his super sensitive alabaster skin. Kelly went down one day eventhough he tore his ACL once again. We tried to get Marissa down the hill, but she didn't want to. But we really appreciated all her help with Jaxon!!!
