Well this was Jaxon's big day and he did fabulous. James blessed him and he was so peaceful. He was looking at all of the faces of the men in the circle all alert and curious. Afterwards we all went to my parents house and had a huge breakfast. Then we had a huge BBQ at our house for dinner. I swear if all of the big milestones in his life include this much good food then I will never loose the baby weight!!! But all in all it was a very good day.
Our saturday consisted of a picnic in the park and the puppies first outing! They loved the green grass and wide openess. It was play heaven.
So, what color do his eyes look? Is it possible to even tell this early?
His hat says "Rookie Dad", he got it for his birthday from Kelly and Hope, it's now his favorite outfit!
Well, we had our two week check up last week and you will never believe what the little chunker weighed in at. Not to give him a complex or anything but he was born at 6lbs 13oz, we left the hospital at 6lbs 5oz, and at his two week apt he was 8lbs 2oz. He also grew from 19 inches to 21 inches in two weeks! James is proud, he always jokes about putting weight gainer in a bottle, but looks like at this rate it's not necessary.
This is Dozer our dog, he is a brand new father too. He just fathered 10 puppies that are almost as cute as Jaxon. I thought he would feel left out if I didn't include him on my family blog. 
Here is Grandma Larsen with her favorite newest grandson!!! I have to get that out while I still can because he won't be the newest edition for long.
How many people are lucky enough to have four generations in one picture? I feel very blessed that I was able to have my grandma, mom and son with me this Thanksgiving and holiday season. I hope that I get to share many more with these beautiful women.
I know pride is bad and all, but I swear isn't he the cute baby you have ever seen! I think that he is the most precious thing ever.
Jaxon's first day home from the hospital. I didn't have anything that really fit him. I looked at James and then I looked at myself, and I thought there is no way that this kid is going to be any less than 8 lbs and 25 inches. But much to my surprise and he came out alot less. Hence the fact that he is swimming in his clothes!
Well, I figured that since a lot of new things are going on in my life I should also start a new way to notify the world. Actually it was at the persistant prompting from my sister that I am doing this. Of all the brand new things that have happend to me the one that I am most excited about is the brand new addition to our family. I was scheduled to be induced on sat the 24th because like his father our son was stubborn and didn't want to do anything I said (like be on time)!! On thanksgiving morning I started contracting at 7 and finally couldn't stand it at 11 am and went to the hospital. I was completely effaced and dilated to a 5 and got the drugs at 12pm. After the drugs everything was very pleasant. My mom got there and just in time. I began pushing at 1 and Jaxon James was born at 1:35pm. I was able to get everyone home for thanksgiving dinner. Although I didn't get any pumpkin pie I got something a whole lot sweeter!
